Canada Shipping
Who is responsible for duties and taxes on shipments to Canada?
All duties, taxes, customs fees, and other import-related charges are the responsibility of the recipient. These fees are not included in your order total and may be collected by the carrier or customs authority before delivery.
What contact information should I provide when placing an order?
To help ensure successful delivery and customs clearance, please provide complete contact information with your order, including:
- Contact name
- Business name (if applicable)
- Phone number
- Email address
- Complete shipping address
Providing accurate contact information allows the carrier or customs officials to reach you if additional information is needed.
Do I need a customs broker?
You are welcome to use your own customs broker if you have one. If you do not have a broker, the shipping carrier can typically assist with customs clearance on your behalf for an additional brokerage fee.
Should I include my tax identification number?
Yes. For faster and smoother customs clearance, we recommend including your tax identification number (such as your GST/HST number) as part of your shipping address or order information. While not required, providing this information can help reduce delays during the customs clearance process.
What happens if customs cannot reach me?
If customs or the shipping carrier cannot contact you to obtain required information, pay duties and taxes, or complete the clearance process, your shipment may be delayed or returned to 9Round Home Office.
What happens if my shipment is returned?
If a shipment is returned because customs clearance could not be completed, including situations where the recipient cannot be reached or required fees are not paid, 9Round Home Office will issue a refund for the order less any shipping, return shipping, brokerage, customs, or other related fees incurred.
